M. Tech. Structural Engineering program requirements are expressed in terms of the total number of credits that a student must finish at Christ University. Students would complete this degree in four semesters, with the last semester focused on either of the two possible options, namely, dissertation or industry issue. This programme is designed to provide in-depth professional experience in one’s own speciality or in a variety of other conventional areas of Engineering.   • Marks Statement: Class 10, Class 12 (Mandatory).
  • Students pursuing their Undergraduate final year must bring their prior semester/year’s grade point average (Mandatory).
  • Provisional degree certificate (Mandatory) if the candidate completed/graduated before June 2024.
  • Degree certificate (Convocation Certificate), if the candidate graduated before to November 2024 (Required).
  • The Transfer Certificate (TC) of the previous eligible institution’s undergraduate/postgraduate degree (Mandatory) must be submitted before September 20, 2024.
  • Certificate from a recognised university for an undergraduate degree.

  • The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  • Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for, sustainable development.
  • Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
  • Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
  • Project management and finance: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to, engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.

Eligibility for M. Tech. Structural Engineering at Christ University Bangalore

  • Candidates must hold a B.Tech/B.E degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a UGC/AIU-accredited university in India or overseas.
  • Students doing their final degree examinations in March-May 2024 are also eligible to apply (Applicants in their last year of study in (B.Tech / B.E) should have obtained 55% or higher aggregate in all Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far).
  • Students pursuing an International curriculum should be aware that eligibility is determined by AIU guidelines.
