Bachelor of Education (BEd) with an annual intake of two basic units of 50 students each. BEd is a two-year programme comprised of four semesters that lasts two academic years. The first semester lasts 16 weeks, while the second semester lasts 18 weeks (the minimum period for internship in the second semester is 4 weeks, excluding (micro teaching) (200 working days). The internship lasts 16 weeks in the third semester and 18 weeks in the fourth semester (200 working days). Eligibility for B.Ed at Christ University
- Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university in India (recognised by UGC) or abroad (recognised by AIU), with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in all courses, including languages.
- Applicants in their final year must have received 50% or higher in all subjects, including languages, during the previous semester/year.
- Applicants holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a specialty in Science and Mathematics must have an overall average of 55% or an equivalent grade in all areas.)
- Students who will be taking their final degree exams in March-May 2024 are also eligible to apply.
- Students pursuing an International curriculum should be aware that eligibility is determined by AIU guidelines.
