Admission Process
Applicants may apply for the programme beginning in January of every year, when applications will be accessible online on the University website, and continuing until the application deadline. Each program’s applications will close around a week before the planned selection procedure. All candidates must go to https://appstat.christuniversity.in and register by providing their NAME (as it appears on their Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID, and creating a password. (The email id and cellphone number supplied will be used for delivering confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant may apply for as many programmes as they choose using the same ID, as long as the eligibility conditions for each programme are met.
Before filling up the online application, applicants must have the following documents:
- (Mandatory) Copy of Class 10 and Class 11/ 12 mark sheets.
- Fill out all the information on the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload a current passport-sized photo (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm formal dress with white backdrop) and then click “Submit.” When you press the Submit button, a viewable and editable page will appear on the screen. You can make changes to the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission” if necessary.
Pay with a credit card and then click the submit button. An Application number of 9 (nine) digits will be produced. If you are unable to print the application form due to a system/power/internet failure, go to https://appstat.christuniversity.in and enter the registered Email-ID and password on the “Application Status” page to see and print the application form.
Eligibility for B.Tech Information Technology (I.T.) in Christ University
- Candidate must have passed the 10+2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) Examination and have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at +2 level and obtained the minimum mentioned marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and 50% in Mathematics from any recognized Board. Candidates who will be taking the +2 exams in March-May 2024 may apply with their class X and XI results.
- Candidates who have successfully completed the three-year diploma in engineering are entitled to apply for lateral entrance into engineering programmes.

- The University Management reserves the right to reject any application that is incomplete or erroneous.
- Please do not send any original mark cards by post or courier.
- Admission is temporary and subject to University restrictions for all chosen candidates.
- Ignorance of the Terms, Conditions, and Guidelines will not be used as an excuse for failure to complete any specified process.
- It should be noted that, while the charge is fixed for two years, there will be a yearly small increase to cover expense increases.
- Fees must be paid by the specified date for the first year and before the start of final examinations for the second semester, fourth semester, sixth semester, and eighth semester for successive years.
- Those accepted into the programme must purchase a laptop on their own dime.
- Admitted students who intend to get a bank loan must receive a recommendation letter from the Office of Admissions by showing the original fee paid receipt.
- The Admission Committee’s decision is final and binding.
