The Council of Architecture-approved Master’s Degree Programme in Architecture (M.Arch.) is a two-year full-time programme provided by the School of Architecture at Christ University. It aims to immerse students in an ecological view of urbanism as part of an inspired knowledge of bigger discourses such as environmental, social, political, artistic, and technical. The Programme is divided into four parts: Studio, Theory Workshops, and Seminar courses. It includes contemporary theoretical viewpoints on urbanism, ecology, and architecture, as well as a grasp of historical antecedents of the built environment in India and throughout the world, infrastructure, mobility, law, governance, and technology. The studio classes cover themes such as documentation techniques, analysis and interpretation, and the design process of urban settings. Eligibility Criteria for M.Arch. in Christ university
- Candidates who have completed the Bachelors of Architecture or comparable courses accepted by the Council of Architecture in India or overseas recognized by UGC / AIU with a minimum of 50% in aggregate are eligible to apply.
- Candidates in their last year of B.Arch. studies who will take their final degree tests in March-May are also eligible to apply. They must have received a grade point average of 50% or above in all Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations completed thus far.
- The candidate must submit a Statement of Purpose as well as three recommendation letters. CHRIST (Deemed to be University) will conduct an admission examination, followed by a personal interview of the candidate’s portfolio of academic and professional activities.

- Sensitivity:By the completion of the curriculum, the student will be PO7 Able to work successfully in multidisciplinary teams in the field of human habitat while displaying social and environmental responsibility.
- Capable of demonstrating participation in community outreach programmes and using acquired knowledge in built environment-related disciplines pertinent to ethical practise in architecture.
- Capable of integrating critical thinking abilities to recognise and appraise the current environment in the service of the architectural profession.
